After a long hike at Lake Pleasant today we decided to head over to Wickenburg for some lunch. I love to find a local spot and this one fit the bill. Thank goodness I chose to ignore the reviews because this place was awesome! From the moment we walked in until we left we had a great time. We chose to sit at the bar and were welcomed right away and drink orders taken. We had come in through the back lot which was great because of if never known there was such a nice patio and shops behind the bar. I've been coming to Wickenburg for years. So many food options sounded good so we opted to split 6 hot wings, a cup of chili and share a bacon cheer and fries as well. Yeap you guessed it we were starving ha ha! We chatted up with the bartenders and a few others at the bar while we waited for our food. Everything came out pretty quick and looked so good. First off the wings were delicious. The chili had a great smoke flavor and adding the onions/cheese made it even better. I liked that they added some tortilla chips as a side to it. They were awesome and they even took the time to cut our burger in half and plate it separately so we didn't have to eat off of one plate. The toppings were great and fries crispy. The burger was cooked how we ordered it. Prices were fair and we've already talked about coming back again soon...he'll like tomorrow ha ha ha. Don't let the reviews fool you. This is a definite local spot, be patient, enjoy yourself and order some hot wings! Yum! The vibe was awesome, laid back and small town feel. I loved every minute.
We stopped just by chance while driving through. Delicious burger and fries! It's a 1/2 pound burger! So good!

Service was excellent, food was good solid bar food (we had grilled cheese and a hamburger), and ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Great place to stop in Wickenburg!
Mecca is a great! We love coming for lunch during the week. Everything we've had is good and the service is always great! Now the weather lends to sitting outside which is nice!
First time exploring historic Wickenburg, and came across Mecca. Good selection of beers, wide variety of food options including great burgers and fries, and good service. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed people watching. Prices are a little steep, the highway is close and can be a little loud with lots of traffic at times, but overall a good lunch stop.
